Choosing a Die Casting Process

Multi-slide, hot chamber zinc and cold chamber aluminum each suit different geometries, volumes and alloys. Our team helps you pick the lowest-cost route to a finished part.

Material Selection

Zinc (ZAMAK/ZA) for thin-wall precision and finish, aluminum (ADC12/A380) for light structural parts, magnesium (AZ91D) for weight savings, and steel/stainless/brass for machining.

Design for Manufacturability

Early DFM review and mold flow simulation reduce risk and cost before any tooling is cut. We flag draft, wall thickness, gates and ejection issues up front.

Tolerances & Finishing

Die casting holds repeatable tolerances; CNC machining tightens critical features. Finishing — plating, powder coat, anodizing and passivation — is done in-house.
