Tooling / Die Mold Manufacturing
DieCastor designs and builds its own dies and molds in-house — from design-for-manufacturability review and mold flow simulation through CNC and EDM die cutting, trial shots and lifetime maintenance. Owning tooling under one roof keeps quality, lead time and cost predictable.
Introduction
Tooling is the foundation of every cast and machined part. By engineering dies and molds internally, we align gate and runner design, cooling and ejection with the part’s function, then validate with trial shots before volume production.
Manufacturing Capability
| Process | Capability |
|---|---|
| DFM review | Early design feedback to reduce cost and risk. |
| Mold flow simulation | Predict fill, cooling and warpage. |
| Die cutting | CNC die sinking and wire/sinker EDM. |
| Trial shots | Validate the tool before series release. |
| Maintenance | Lifetime service and spare inserts. |
Material Options
| Material | Key properties | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| H13 | Hot work, high toughness | Die casting dies |
| Pre-hardened steel | Stable, machinable | Plastic molds |
| Tool steel | Wear resistance | Stamping, fixtures |
