Zinc Die Casting
DieCastor provides hot chamber zinc die casting in ZAMAK 2/3/5/7 and ZA-8 alloys, delivering thin walls, high dimensional stability and excellent plating and finishing performance. Zinc is the natural choice for complex, high-volume components where appearance and precision both matter.
Introduction
Zinc die casting combines fast cycle times with outstanding dimensional repeatability. Its low melting point and fluidity let us cast fine detail and thin sections that would be difficult or impossible in other processes, making it ideal for connectors, fittings and decorative hardware.
Manufacturing Capability
| Process | Capability |
|---|---|
| Hot chamber casting | Fast cycles, excellent surface finish. |
| Tooling | In-house die design and EDM cutting. |
| Finishing | Plating, powder coat, passivation. |
| Inspection | Dimensional and material verification. |
Material Options
| Material | Key properties | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| ZAMAK 3 | Best castability, good strength | General components |
| ZAMAK 5 | Higher strength, hardness | Mechanical parts |
| ZA-8 | Creep resistance, bearing quality | Gears, wear surfaces |
